Hälssen & Lyon, the German tea company created an innovative design to advertise their product without adhering to the ubiquitous paper calendar marketing scheme. Their calendar is created from processed, compressed tea leaves. The leaves are sliced in to thin squares, stamped with a date, and hung in a straight row. With each passing day, a tea page can be peeled off of the calendar and dropped in to a mug of hot water, becoming a tasty brew (via).
